We are proud to announce that Charlie Davis, Esperanza’s very own artist, will be featured by West Elm, in their new ArtLifting collection! Charlie, who creates vibrant artwork with bold colors, painted one piece for this collection, “Untitled” which is sold on West Elm’s website.
Esperanza is a proud partner of ArtLifting, whose mission is to connect “socially conscious companies with talented artists impacted by homelessness and disabilities.” Says Stephanie McNeal, Esperanza’s Art Facilitator, “Thank you for providing this wonderful opportunity for Charlie, and thank you, to Charlie, for sharing your talents with us. We are proud to showcase your creative work!”
West Elm has committed to the 15 Percent Pledge, where 15% of their shelves are “dedicated to Black and African American makers.” Charlie is one of the Black and African American artists featured in the unique and exciting collaboration with the popular furniture and home goods store; a portion of the proceeds from the sale of “Untitled” will go directly to Charlie.

Charlie’s artwork is also available as a puzzle! Please contact dgoffi@esperanzacommunity.org if you are interested in purchasing one of his puzzles. Proceeds made from the puzzle will be a small donation toward Esperanza’s Art Program.
