Celebrate Esperanza artists at our first ever Celebrating Victories Virtual Gala. Our online auction and art sale will start on June 22, 2020. For those who have attended past galas, you know that one of the best parts of Celebrating Victories is the ART!
This year’s art exhibit will showcase over 70 pieces of amazing artwork like “House” featured above. This one of a kind masterpiece was made by using painter’s tape to make his lines and then Brian used many layers of acrylic paint to finish the houses. The piece means a lot to the Esperanza Family.
Brian was an interdisciplinary artist who worked in drawing, painting, printmaking, weaving, and collage. Brian also enjoyed math and was an accomplished athlete. He was also an artist with Airlifting, based out of Boston, MA.
Brian has been with Esperanza for many years and recently passed away. We will miss him dearly! This piece not only honors Brian but also beautifully captures our experience the past few months of staying at home in our “House”.
