Dear Esperanza Family and Friends,
The Board of Directors of Esperanza Community Services is pleased to announce the appointment of Jayne Drew as Chief Executive Officer effective December 21, 2021.
Jayne brings over 30 years of professional experience spanning various industries, including financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, and nonprofit sectors. Jayne has led several multi-million-dollar change initiatives leveraging technology and business process management in the financial services sector in New York, London, and Tokyo.
For the past decade, Jayne has used her professional skills to build capacity in the nonprofit world. She most recently served as Chief Development Officer for the Little City Foundation, an organization with a mission and core programs that closely mirror Esperanza’s. Previously, Jayne has served as the Chief Development Officer for Meals on Wheels Chicago, the National Director of Community Development for Nephcure Kidney International in Philadelphia, and the National Director of Development and Marketing at GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Centers.
Jayne earned her MBA from Durham University in England and undergraduate studies in Finance and Economics at Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE).
Jayne is a lifelong learner and continues her pursuit of knowledge both personally and professionally; she currently is working on her Executive Scholar designation in Nonprofit Leadership at the Kellogg School of Management.
Jayne has two adult sons, Matthew and Max, and currently lives in Barrington, IL, planning to relocate downtown in the near future. Jayne loves to travel, cook, play tennis, and practice yoga – she also hopes one day to improve her golf game.
Jayne is a people-centered leader who we believe her positive impact will be felt across all areas of our operation, especially in delivering Esperanza’s mission and core programs for the children, adults, and families we serve.
Would you please join us in welcoming Jayne to Esperanza Community Services? She may be reached via email at jdrew@esperanzacommunity.org.
