    Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

    Job Description
    Essential Functions: Esperanza Community Services is a non-profit agency that provides quality services for children and adults with developmental disabilities is seeking a passionate, creative, hard-working Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and facilitate programming for a caseload of adult clients, which includes three Community Integrated Living Arrangement sites (CILA’s) and the Coleridge Adult Day Program. This position reports to the Director of Programs.

    Responsibilities:

    •  Conducting functional assessments
    •  Developing individualized behavior intervention plans
    •  Training agency staff members
    •  Facilitating ongoing data collection and data analysis
    • Generating outcome reports
    • Serve on the agency’s Behavior Committee
    • Attend weekly meetings with the behavior support team
    • Provide direct service to adults with developmental disabilities
    • Understanding of DHS Rules 115 & 119
    • Attend ISP meetings and assist with coordination of the meetings as assigned
    • Responsible for timely clinical documentation
    • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some nights and weekends
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:
    1. Masters Degree in related social service field required
    2. Minimum 1 years experience with the developmentally disabled population
    3. BCBA certification, or eligible for certification, required
    4. Ability to bill under the Medicaid waiver (Level 1 or Level 2) or ability, required
    5. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
    6. Knowledge of DHS and CARF mandates helpful

    Valid Illinois driver’s license in good standing with the ability to travel to multiple sites, required
