Thanks to you to all of our supporters for making this year’s Celebrating Victories a huge success!

Thursday night at the Union League Club of Chicago, guests enjoyed a fantastic meal prepared by co-chairs, chefs Joel Nickson and Jackie Shen, as well as chef Michael Garbin, and bid on an exciting array of live and silent auction items. The best part of all though was the opportunity guests had to see Esperanza participants in action.  Works of participant-made art were for sale in an awesome exhibit, Lady Gag, Sweet Peas, and the Bicycle. CILA resident Benjamin Scott brought his guitar and amp and played two of his self-composed songs, and other participants performed The Hot Chili Skit, a short play written by participant Bobby Tirelli and performed with the help of a few Chicago firemen! It was an inspirational night, and our most successful Celebrating Victories yet! Thank you to everyone who joined us in support of Esperanza’s mission to help children and adults with developmental disabilities become as independent as possible.

And a big thanks to those who contributed refreshments and dessert for the evening
